The National Coalition of Youth in Politics (NACOYP) is a non-partisan youth-led organization committed to promoting political participation, leadership development, civic education, and good governance among young people across Nigeria.
Our mission is to empower and mobilize Nigerian youths to actively engage in the political process, advocate for youth inclusion in governance, and contribute to building a transparent, accountable, and democratic society.
No. NACOYP is strictly non-partisan. We do not support or campaign for any political party or candidate. Our focus is on youth empowerment, political education, and democratic participation regardless of party affiliation.

Membership is open to all Nigerian youths aged 18 to 65 years who are passionate about political participation, leadership, and national development.

You can become a member by filling out our online or physical membership form, paying a small registration fee (if applicable), and committing to uphold the organization’s constitution and code of conduct.

Yes. NACOYP has structures across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), including state, zonal, and local government chapters.

Yes! You don’t need to be a politician to join or volunteer. NACOYP welcomes students, entrepreneurs, activists, community leaders, and professionals who share our vision of inclusive governance.

While NACOYP does not fund campaigns, we provide capacity-building, mentorship, and political strategy support to young aspirants who wish to contest elections.

To start a local chapter, you must:

  • Be a registered member of NACOYP.
  • Obtain official authorization from the national secretariat.
  • Mobilize at least 10–15 committed members.
  • Follow the organizational guidelines for chapter set-up
