Who We Are

The National Coalition of Youth in Politics (NACOYP) is a nationwide movement committed to empowering Nigerian youth to take their rightful place in the political arena. Founded in 2025, NACOYP emerged in response to a pressing reality: despite Nigeria’s vast potential, young people remain largely excluded from meaningful political participation.

We believe that sustainable national transformation is impossible without the active inclusion of youth in governance, policy-making, and civic leadership. NACOYP provides a unifying platform for political engagement, civic education, electoral inclusion, and policy advocacy, tailored specifically for the younger generation.

Our Story

Born in a time when many young Nigerians were disillusioned with politics, NACOYP began as a call to action. A call to reject apathy, challenge exclusion, and take ownership of Nigeria’s future. From humble beginnings, it has grown into a national framework—uniting young changemakers across states, tribes, and ideologies under one shared belief: that youth are not the future—they are the present.
